BOOKING INFORMATION

• We are a cash only business (ATM facilities are located inside the shopping centre). Please try and bring correct change.

• Please also bring a valid photo ID to your session.

 

DESIGN PROCESS

Once you have made a booking please ensure you have provided all your reference photos for your artist. Your artist will accept these via the shop/s email or social media accounts, or their individual accounts.

If you wish to change major elements to your tattoo design you will need to give plenty of notice to your artist. Major changes may change the booking length as well as the price and this will need to be arranged ahead of time otherwise your deposit may be forfeited and you will need to be rescheduled.
Artists are always working on multiple designs at once, so your design will be ready to view on the day of your session. Minor details can be changed.

PRIOR TO YOUR APPOINTMENT

It is important to prepare for your tattoo appointment. We recommend the following to make your session as comfortable as possible:

• Have a good night's rest beforehand.

• Eat a good meal within 4 hours prior to your tattoo.

• Ensure you are well hydrated.

• Moisturise the skin where your tattoo is going leading up to your appointment. This will help the ink go in better. It also makes it less painful for you.

• Don't drink alcohol/consume recreational drugs 48 hours prior to your tattoo.

• If you are on blood thinners please let me know as it can increase the risk of infection. Aspirin, panadol, and nurofen can cause slight blood thinning so avoid taking them if you can prior to your appointment.

• You do not need to shave the area prior, your artist will do this. You are welcome to if you like but please ensure you shave in the direction of the hair growth and with a cream to avoid razor burn or ingrown hairs. If you are very hairy in the area to be tattooed we would appreciate it if you could trim beforehand as it makes shaving a lot easier, but it is not a requirement.

• Do not get a wax before a tattoo. It will hurt more to be tattooed in that area.

• Fake tan is fine, it will wipe off during the tattoo, do NOT reapply it while the tattoo is healing (just in the area of the tattoo).

• Please advise your artist of any scarring, sunburn, skin conditions (psoriasis or eczema), or fresh cuts/bruises before the session. Some of these can not be tattooed over.

• Please ask before using numbing cream. Some artists do not allow numbing cream to be used due to the negative side effects.

 

BRINGING A FRIEND OR FAMILY MEMBER

• Feel free to bring someone. Some people feel better with someone there to comfort them, but some people can get worked up from having an onlooker. Please only bring 1 person as we have very small tattoo areas. Please ask your artist first if this is okay.

• We love kids, but unless your child is getting a piercing then please do not bring them to the studio, especially for your tattoo session. Kids can cause distractions and the shop is not child proofed. If you bring your kids without permission it may result in a forfeit of deposit and a rescheduled appointment.

 

WHAT TO WEAR AND BRING TO YOUR SESSION

• Please wear comfortable clothing that has ease of access to the area being tattooed. Tattoo ink stains clothes so we suggest avoiding white clothing. For foot tattoos please wear slides or slippers, thongs may rub on the fresh tattoo.

• It is encouraged to bring snacks and drinks to ensure your sugar/salt levels are up. We have lollies and drinks on offer also. For larger sessions we usually take a bigger break during the session, feel free to bring lunch (we have a fridge and microwave), or there are plenty of takeaway food options nearby.

• Feel free to bring headphones, a book, tablet, etc. We have music and TVs playing also.

• We have pillows and heating, but if you prefer your own feel free to bring a pillow and blanket.

• We are AUDHD friendly and have fidget toys available, but you are welcome to bring your own or even your favourite plushie.

• We have privacy screens in each tattoo area if you are getting an intimate area tattooed or if you prefer a private session.
